Ako sme ponúkli 50 jazykov

Keď sme sa pustili do vytvorenia viacjazyčnej webovej stránky založenej na GoHugo.io, chceli sme efektívny, škálovateľný a nákladovo efektívny spôsob generovania prekladov. Namiesto manuálneho prekladu každej stránky sme využili OpenAI API na automatizáciu procesu. Tento článok popisuje, ako sme integrovali OpenAI API s Hugo, pomocou témy HugoPlate od Zeon Studio, aby sme rýchlo a presne generovali preklady.
Prečo sme si vybrali OpenAI API na preklad
Tradičné prekladateľské služby často vyžadujú značnú manuálnu prácu a automatizované nástroje ako Google Translate, hoci užitočné, neposkytujú vždy úroveň prispôsobenia, ktorú sme potrebovali. OpenAI API nám umožnilo:
- Automatizovať preklady vo veľkom
- Prispôsobiť štýl prekladu
- Lepšie kontrolovať kvalitu
- Bezproblémovo integrovať s našou stránkou založenou na Hugo
- Označiť jednotlivé stránky na opätovný preklad
- Pridať nové jazyky s minimálnym úsilím
Postup krok za krokom
1. Príprava webovej stránky Hugo
Naša stránka už bola nastavená s témou HugoPlate, ktorá podporuje viacjazyčnú funkcionalitu. Prvým krokom bolo povolenie jazykovej podpory v našom Hugo súbore config/_default/languages.toml:

Táto konfigurácia zabezpečuje, že Hugo môže generovať samostatné jazykové verzie nášho obsahu.
2. Automatizácia prekladov pomocou OpenAI API
Vyvinuli sme Bash skript na automatizáciu prekladu Markdown súborov. Tento skript:
- Číta anglické
.mdsúbory zo zdrojového adresára. - Používa OpenAI API na preklad textu pri zachovaní Markdown formátovania.
- Ukladá preložený obsah do príslušných jazykových adresárov.
- Sleduje stav prekladu pomocou JSON súboru.

3. Správa stavu prekladu
Aby sme predišli duplicitným prekladom a sledovali pokrok, použili sme JSON súbor (translation_status.json). Skript tento súbor aktualizuje po spracovaní každého dokumentu, čím zabezpečuje, že sa prekladajú len nové alebo aktualizované obsahy.
4. Riešenie chýb a limity API
Implementovali sme opakované pokusy a spracovanie chýb na zvládnutie limitov, zlyhaní API a problémov s kvótou. Skript čaká pred opätovným pokusom, ak OpenAI API vráti chybu ako rate_limit_reached alebo service_unavailable.
5. Nasadenie
Keď je preložený obsah vygenerovaný, spustením hugo --minify sa zostaví viacjazyčná statická stránka pripravená na nasadenie.
Výzvy a riešenia
1. Presnosť prekladu
Hoci preklady OpenAI boli vo všeobecnosti presné, niektoré technické termíny môžu vyžadovať manuálnu kontrolu, ale sme len tím dvoch, takže dúfame v to najlepšie. Vylepšili sme promptovanie, aby sme zachovali kontext a tón.
2. Problémy s formátovaním
Markdown syntax sa niekedy počas prekladu zmenila. Na vyriešenie sme pridali post-procesnú logiku na zachovanie formátovania.
3. Optimalizácia nákladov na API
Na zníženie nákladov sme implementovali cache, aby sme sa vyhli opätovnému prekladu nezmeneného obsahu.
4. Efektívne riešenie opätovných prekladov
Na opätovný preklad konkrétnych stránok sme pridali parameter front matter retranslate: true. Skript prekladá len stránky označené týmto parametrom. To nám umožňuje aktualizovať preklady podľa potreby bez nutnosti prekladať celú stránku znova.
