No Payment Processing Fees

EVnSteven doesn’t handle your money. Residents pay you directly — by e-transfer, cheque, cash, work order, or whatever works for your building. Because we’re not in the middle of the transaction, we don’t take a cut, and there are no payment processing fees on either side.

This keeps things simple, flexible, and global. It works the same way whether you’re in Canada, Germany, Brazil, or Kenya — because the payment method is entirely between you and your residents. You’re not locked into a specific payment processor or regional payment network.

Most networked charging providers take a percentage of every transaction, on top of their monthly fees. We’ve spoken with buildings where the effective per-kWh rate ended up more than double the local residential electricity rate once all the fees and cuts were factored in.

Home and workplace charging is the preferred method for most EV drivers for one simple reason: the car sits parked for 23 hours a day. It charges overnight at home or during the workday at the office — no detours, no waiting, no paying public station prices. The cost advantage over public charging is one of the biggest financial benefits of owning an EV. Fees that double your rate quietly take that benefit away from your residents.

EVnSteven gives you a way to charge your residents the lowest possible rate — close to what you actually pay for electricity — while saving you the cost of hardware, networks, and vendor contracts you never needed in the first place.
