Easy Check-In and Check-Out
When a resident arrives to charge, they open EVnSteven, scan the QR code on the station sign, select their vehicle, and check in. That’s it. The app starts the clock. For L1 outlets, residents plug in using the cable that came with their EV — no special equipment needed on their end.
When they’re done, they unplug and check out. The app stops the clock, calculates the session cost, and adds it to their monthly invoice. No card required, no fumbling at the outlet — just a quick tap at the start and end of each session.
Reminders can be set at check-in so residents get a notification when their session is nearing its end. This helps keep shared stations available and encourages good charging etiquette without any awkward conversations.
Flexible timing is available for dedicated stations where there’s a high level of trust between owner and resident — for example, when a resident uses their car’s built-in scheduler to charge overnight during off-peak hours. In that case, the owner can allow the resident to adjust their check-in and check-out times after the fact. This is disabled by default and not intended for shared stations.
If a resident has a question about a session, they can contact the station owner directly by email — the invoice has everything they need to start the conversation.
