When a resident checks in, they set an estimated checkout time. At that time, EVnSteven sends a push notification reminding them to unplug and check out. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference on shared stations — the next person waiting doesn’t have to guess whether the station is almost free or blocked for another eight hours.

If a resident forgets to check out entirely, EVnSteven sends follow-up email reminders starting 24 hours after check-in, then every hour for the next three hours. Most forgotten checkouts are honest mistakes, and a reminder is usually all it takes.
