Token Wallet

Tokens are how drivers pay for the EVnSteven app. They don’t cover electricity costs — that’s handled separately between you and your station owner — but they keep the app running, maintained, and improving for everyone.

One Token. One Session. About Ten Cents.

Tokens cost roughly $0.10 USD each depending on your local market. Every time you start a charging session, one token is used. That’s it.

Most apps charge a monthly subscription whether you use them or not. We don’t think that’s fair. If you’re not using EVnSteven, you’re not paying for it — not a cent. Use it every day and it’ll cost you a maximum of $3.00 USD per month. Use it three times a week and you’re looking at about $1.20 USD per month. Meanwhile, we helped you skip thousands of dollars in charging hardware, network fees, and unnecessary complexity.

You’re welcome. 😄

Getting Started

New accounts receive 10 free tokens as a welcome gift — enough to get you started without spending a cent.

Buying Tokens

Tokens are purchased in-app through Google Play or the Apple App Store. They come in three pack sizes:

  • 5 tokens — top up as you go
  • 15 tokens — a comfortable supply, slightly cheaper per token
  • 30 tokens — stock up and forget about it, best value per token

Your wallet can hold a maximum of 30 tokens at a time. This cap protects you from accidental purchases — handy if little hands get hold of your phone.

Your Wallet Balance

The token wallet shows a full breakdown of your balance:

  • Purchased — tokens bought through the app store
  • Promo / Gift — tokens received as gifts or promotions
  • Consumed — tokens used across all your sessions
  • Balance — tokens remaining
