Why Is It Called EVnSteven?

Before EVnSteven, charging your EV from a shared outlet in your building meant one awkward problem: nobody knew who owed what. Installing dedicated metered hardware was expensive and out of reach for most buildings, so residents either avoided it, argued about it, or let it slide — which wasn’t fair to anyone.
EVnSteven solves it without any hardware at all. Residents log their charging sessions honestly, the platform calculates exactly what they owe, they pay the building owner, and everyone ends up exactly where they should be — Even Steven.
The name is a small piece of wordplay: “EVn” is “Even” with the EV pulling double duty — standing for both the start of the word “Even” and the thing you’re actually charging. Add “Steven” and the whole phrase lands. Fair, settled, nothing owed — that’s been the meaning of “Even Steven” since the 19th century, and it’s still the whole point.
