Three years later

Three years later

After three years of development, EVnSteven has reached an important milestone.

It’s stable. It works. And it no longer needs as much of my attention.

That’s a good thing.

We’ll continue maintaining EVnSteven and supporting everyone who uses it. Our belief in simplicity, affordability, and trust hasn’t changed.

Meanwhile, I’ve been working on two new projects.

Stray Cats is an open-source platform to help people care for cats, especially strays. My hope is to grow it into a nonprofit.

Effectivo is a simple money-tracking app for people living in cash-heavy economies like Mexico.

No complicated accounting. No need to track every last peso perfectly. Just a practical way to understand where your money disappears.

One project helps people care for cats. The other helps people take better care of their money.

Both are built around the same principles as EVnSteven: simplicity, affordability, and trust.

One is already launched. The other is almost ready.

And EVnSteven?

It’s not going anywhere. It just doesn’t need me as much as it used to.

If you’d like more of these notes, I send them out now and then. No product announcements. No fake urgency. Just what we’re learning.

One note: EVnSteven Notes is in English only for now. If English isn’t your first language and you still want in, you’re more than welcome.
